I write short stories and novels in the science fiction/fantasy genre. Stories have always been a portal through which I can find a better reality. I write so that I can give that same gift to my readers.

Aside from writing and reading, my life is devoted to saving German Shorthaired Pointers. I share my days with a boisterous young GSP named Kasper. Kasper and many other dogs like them owe their lives to being rescued from shelters with the help of the NorCal GSP Rescue. I  currently serve as the rescue’s Executive Director.
